The judging panel for the 2022 edition has representatives from several energy companies, among those Shell, Chevron, ExxonMobil, Repsol and Petronas. AKOFS Offshore was nominated in a total of 3 of the 8 award categories.
AKOFS Offshore, with the OneTeam operation model, won the “Best example of Collaboration award”, with the following judgement from the jury:

With collaboration recognised as one of the most important targets for the oil and gas industry to pursue, the Best Example of Collaboration was a hotly contested category.
Ultimately there could be only one winner and AKOFS Offshore has been recognised by judges in this category for the AKOFS Seafarer which has offered to Equinor a unique integrated service organised under a OneTeam model. The services include provision of a light well intervention unit, dual work ROV systems, slickline and e-line wireline conveyance, tractor services and standard wireline tooling.
The services are provided through four entities – AKOFS Offshore, IKM Subsea, Archer and Welltec –in close cooperation with Equinor and its CPI contractors onboard. The OneTeam culture is a worthy winner which will no doubt serve as an inspiration for the wider community to engage in collaborative efforts with more enthusiasm.
